Hi there! My name is Marni Harris and I am the creator of all the things made and services offered at Monogram This and More.  My love for all this started a long time ago when at a young age, my mom would receive fabric swatches in the mail from a mail order catalog.  I would take those swatches and sew them together into various items such as a dress for my dolls or a scarf for my dog.  This early experience along with sewing classes  and a job in a fabric store led me to pursue a degree in Home Economics Education. I taught middle and high schoolers for several years before pivoting to Library work.

After a few years of teaching, I discovered another passion: gathering information and organizing it.  That passion led me to earn a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science.  However, when I became a Mom, my focus shifted back to sewing, embroidery and creative design.

Orginally from upstate New York, I currently reside in Franklin, Tennessee.  My small home-based business specializes in monogramming and embroidery although I continue to stay up to date on techniques and other methods of personalization.
